Excursion to a nuclear power plant, Dukovany 1^st December 2010

Excursion

On the 1^st December 2010 two classes of our school visited the nuclear power plant in Dukovany, which is about 50 kilometres far from Brno.

 

Power station

Coming to Dukovany we saw the monumental buildings of the cooling towers first. Then we distinguished the rest of the nuclear power station.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Information centre

We were showed into an information centre, where we heard the main information on the power plant and saw a film. Then we were told to ask questions. So we did.

 

 

 

 

 

Exhibiton

Later we saw the exhibition of models, panels and experiments showing how the nuclear power plant and particularly the nuclear reactor work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Experience
